About this policy

This policy describes RixLoop for Windows, the RixLoop Android app (kiarumea.rixloop), and this website. RixLoop is a music composition app. It does not require an account and does not provide cloud project storage.

Projects and audio

RixLoop stores your current project, app preferences, and imported audio locally in the app or browser's storage, including IndexedDB. This makes it possible to restore your work when you reopen the app. RixLoop does not upload your project, notes, or imported audio to a RixLoop server or send them to the advertising SDK.

A saved .rix file contains your project and its imported samples. A WAV export contains the rendered audio. You decide where to save or share those files. Anyone you share a .rix file with can access its included audio.

Files you choose

Import and open actions use a file picker so you can choose the files RixLoop reads. Saving and exporting let you choose the destination. The app does not need microphone access or permission to scan your entire storage. If you select a cloud provider in your device's file picker, that provider handles the transfer under its own terms.

Android advertising

The Android app includes Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. When an ad is ready, an interstitial can appear before opening a project, saving a project, or opening export. After an interstitial appears, another can appear only after more than 10 minutes. The action continues after dismissal. If no ad is available, the action continues without an ad. The Windows app and this website do not include AdMob ads.

Google's SDK may collect or share IP addresses, device or advertising identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostics. Google uses this information for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention.

Your choices

RixLoop uses Google's User Messaging Platform to check consent requirements and show any required forms before requesting ads. Where required, an Ad privacy control lets you revisit your choices. The available choices depend on Google's configuration, your region, and the SDK's response. Music and file actions remain available when ads cannot be requested.

You can remove local autosaved data by clearing RixLoop's app data, or the site's storage if using the browser app. This removes local work and preferences. Save a .rix backup first if you want to keep your music. Files you saved separately remain until you delete them using your device's file manager. Google controls retention and deletion of data processed by its advertising services.

This website

These pages do not include analytics scripts, advertising, third-party fonts, or tracking cookies. Your language choice is stored in your browser's local storage when you use the language switch. Your browser still contacts the website host to load pages, images, and downloads; the host may process standard connection information such as your IP address and request logs. Following an external link takes you to that provider's website and privacy practices.
